     Safe operation of the atomic energy use objects is possible only in case of skillful personnel presence. It is indicated in the Law “About the Atomic Energy Use” (Article 14, Clause 4) that “the personnel of operating organization shall be certified in the order set by RK Government”.

     The Committee elaborated and endorsed "The General Rules of Permits Granting to the Staff for Works Execution in the Field of Atomic Energy Use". The certification of the Heads and specialists in charge of the nuclear and radiation safety in their organizations is executed in accordance with above requirements. The knowledge of the legislation, standards and rules acting in this field is tested.

     The categories of the Heads and specialists subject to certification are defined in this document, and the certification order is given.

     It is needed to fill an application and portfolio given in the Appendices 1 and 2 of the General Rules to pass the certification.

     When filling in of the application and portfolio use the clause 1.5.2 of the General Rules “to be entitled to participate in supervision and monitoring of the nuclear and radiation safety provision” having excluded the word “nuclear” from the text for organizations not engaged in nuclear hazardous activities.
     To collect all the documents enumerated in the Addition 1 to the Appendix 2. For clauses:
     To indicate the birth date
     The length of service on specialization
     To submit in case of repeated certification
     If the job description has been submitted to inform that it is attached to the documents for licensing. If it has not been submitted it is needed to submit it.
     Clause 5 and 6 – are together
     The copies of the qualification upgrading certificates are required
     The copy of the certificate or medical health book about the medical examination
     Only for the personnel of the organizations having the 1st department.
     All the documents accompanied with the covering letter shall be submitted to the Committee. In response you will get a letter with the information clarifying where and when the certification will be held.
